Return to Country Road Lodge, kick off your shoes in our relaxed, congenial ambience before dinner at one of many fine restaurants nearby. Country Road Lodge has four rooms, all with private bath. All rooms overlook the Hudson River and the surrounding forested foothills of the Adirondacks. They have individually controlled heat and air conditioning. There are no TVs. The entire house is pet-free. Smoking is permitted on the porch and the grounds only.
Just 30 minutes from Gore Mountain, 20 from West Mountain, or XC ski or snowshoe our 40 acres and adjacent state forest.
Hiking/cross-country ski trails start at Country Road Lodge , or nearby trailheads in the Lake George area of the southeastern Adirondacks. In spring, summer and fall explore Colonial and Revolutionary War history at forts, battlefields and museums. Spend an hour or a day cruising magnificent Lake George.
