Welcome to the Historic Village of Cumberland located in Comox Valley, British Columbia, in Canada. Cumberland Gardens Bed and Breakfast is a heritage home, built in 1911, which is nestled at the foothills of the Beaufort Mountains in the Comox Valley, British Columbia.
Cumberland Gardens Bed and Breakfast is surrounded by spectacular gardens. Bask in the sun next to the greenhouse, enjoy a quiet moment next the pond, or cool off under the shady bower of the side garden.
Any time is teatime in our secluded garden next to the wood-burning bread oven. Flowers are in bloom most of the year. The pond in the lower part of the garden has some goldfish which have survived for five years in their own little ecosystem. Waterlilies are on the water, and giant gunnera beside the pond. In season visitors can graze on blueberries and raspberries in the sustenance garden.
Unit A has a double bed, a single hideabed, and a fold down cot if needed. Cable TV and high speed or wireless Internet are included. Each suite has a separate entrance from a common foyer where sports equipment or bicycles may be stored. The bathroom is shared. Suite A also has a kitchen for those who would like an extended stay.
There are many recreational opportunities and cultural activities to take advantage of in Cumberland, Comox Valley, British Columbia, and surrounding regions. Whatever your passion, from caving to fly fishing to theatre, something wonderful awaits you.
