Welcome to Cynthia's Dance Center, Folsom, California, United States. Cynthia's Dance Center is a locally owned Dance school located in Folsom, California and dedicated to the art of Dance since 1978. A National Award Winning School for over thirty years specializing in ballet, tap, jazz, storybook ballet, hip-hop, tumbling, tap/ballet combo, tap/jazz combo, Dance teams, modeling & pageantry, adult classes, home of The Miss Folsom & Miss Roseville Pageants from newborn to 24 years of age. Our school offers a specialized program for tiny tots starting at 2.5 years of age to adults in beginners thru advanced. We have a wonderful program just for you and your family. Cynthia decided she wanted to teach Dance and have her own studio at age twelve. Studying Dance since age five at Dancer's Workshop in Sacramento under the direction of Lillian Olsen. Lillian taugth her to love tap they way she did. During her high school years she choreographed all variety shows and musical productions performed at Encina High School. There she Danced and performed with Carla Stalling formally of The American Ballet Theatre in New York where she performed with Mikhail Baryshnikov. Cynthia has choreographed for various organization including The Sacramento Student Players and Musical Comedy Workshop all before graduating from Encina High School in June of 1975.
