The Dance Company Outreach in Rockford, Illinois, United States, has a program mission which is to use the creative art of dance to enhance learning. Hands on educational programs and visiting appearances by RDC staff open eyes and doors to the world of dance and the exploration of moving.

In collaboration with its many partners; Discovery Center, Rockford Art Museum, Rockford Symphony Orchestra, and Burpee Museum Dance Company Outreach has an agenda to support education with creative approaches to learning through programs such as Arts Revival, Rockford Art Link Learning for Youth (RALLY), Terrific Tuesday and Fabulous Friday field trips, school matinee performances and tours. New to this year's platform, Dance Company Outreach in Rockford, Illinois, has launched an inaugural Ballet program at Ellis Arts Academy taught by an RDC faculty member.
In addition to these educational initiatives, we also design and deliver programs for Girl Scouts, Camp Collage, Century 21 Afterschool program, All City Musical and private gatherings. This past year the Dance Company Outreach has reached over 8800 students who participated in these various programs and we continue our mission of promoting the art of dance in our Rockford Community.
