Welcome to the Dasbriete Hotel, Basel, Switzerland. At first glance, the Dasbreite Hotel appears to be a typical and modern city Hotel.
However, it is quite different. By providing employment to adults with a disability, it contributes to their integration. Their participation as employees in the productive labour force is an important source of experience, acknowledgment and appreciation.
The Dasbreite Hotel is a sheltered workshop and as such a non-profit organization. The business is financially supported by the Federal Office for Social Security, the cantons of Basle City and Basle Land, as well as by numerous institutions, firms and private individuals.
There are single and double rooms with shower and toilet furnished in a modern design, direct-dial telephone, internet connection (Ethernet) and TV. The entire Hotel is without obstructions and accessible via the elevator. A parking lot for cars and bikes is available in the garage of the Hotel.
