In addition to the facilities in the Premier Plus room a CD player with a small selection of CDs is provided. Be truly pampered with fluffy bathrobes, slippers and luxury toiletries for use during your stay. In addition to the sherry decanter a basket of fresh fruit provides a warm welcoming touch.
For breakfast, Derwentwater Hotel offers an extensive cold buffet, which includes a wide selection of cereal, fruit, pastries and cold meats. This is in addition to the traditional Cumbrian breakfast served hot from the kitchen. For dinner, we offer a fixed price four-course menu followed by coffee. This contains a wide choice of dishes, which are changed on a daily basis. Sunday lunch is a traditional three-course menu with some dishes having interesting culinary 'twists for those who are a little more adventurous with their food! Derwentwater Hotel uses local produce wherever possible, with all dishes prepared in our own kitchen. There are always extensive vegetarian and healthy eating options available.
Should guests prefer something more private, uxuriously appointed apartments are available by the week or for three/four day short breaks. All residents have unlimited use of all the facilities of the Derwentwater Hotel allowing complete flexibility.
