The Dovecote Restaurant is set in what was the barn with a Dovecote, originally the "pigeon keep" for the Calgary House Estate to provide winter meat supplies and is an apt name for our Restaurant! The pigeons no longer feature on the menu but we do keep some beautiful white doves, who have a new dovecote!
The Restaurant is open to residents and non-residents and offers an A La Carte choice, changing several times throughout the week. The menu uses much local produce, Mull's own beef, lamb, pork, venison, wild salmon and white fish with our own speciality shellfish often on the menu - prawns, crab, lobster, scallops and crayfish in good supply from our family connections. We also have close links with the Isle of Mull Cheese Makers and there is always the opportunity to try their delicious cheeses and cream.
