The original Drama Theatre was built in the Classical style and destroyed by fire. The building before you was erected in 1857 and later renovated to stay in vogue with the neo-Classical style. The Theatre has two halls: one with a 450-person capacity and another with a 150-person capacity. The most infamous visitor to the Theatre is Hitler who gave a speech from its balcony.
