Dunstan School Restaurant, Scarborough is an old schoolhouse restored and redecorated with an effort to retain as much of the old school's atmosphere and nostalgia as possible.
The dining rooms are named after sections of the Town of Scarborough. The chalkboards have been kept in most rooms as they were used in the old classrooms.
The upright piano has been stripped of its many coats of different colored paint and restored to its original finish. The exterior of the building is restored almost in original detail with its new signs designed to be very compatible to the surrounding architecture.

The Dunstan School, Scarborough was constructed during World War II. The cornerstone bears the date of 1944, and the first class entered the building in September, 1945, serving grades 1 to 8.
As the Scarborough School System was consolidated, use of this building was discontinued in 1980. The building reMained boarded and out of use until purchased in May, 1985 by the owners of the famous Clambake Restaurant at Pine Point, Scarborough.
