Eden Bed and Breakfast is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on a headland, near the Coastal path and on the edge of a farm in Mevagissey, England in the United Kingdom.
The Eden Project is only ten miles away and the tops of the trees in the Lost Gardens of Heligan can be seen from Eden Bed and Breakfast's balcony in Mevagissey, England. With breath taking panoramic sea views from both bedrooms, snuggly duvets and luxury en suite shower rooms this is the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday or a few days away from it all.
Situated 75 metres above sea level on Chapel Point headland, with cattle over the garden wall, this is a very peaceful rural setting. Overlooking Portmellon Cove, with its sandy beach and summertime pub, we are about a mile from the ancient fishing village of Mevagissey.
A full Cornish breakfast is served at Eden Bed and Breakfast or you may prefer a locally oak-smoked kipper. Vegetarian and special diets are available ? just let us know what you would like.
No smoking, no pets, children aged 12+ welcome.
We have just two letting rooms - one double and one twin/double. Both have:
Goose down duvets and pillows (synthetic available). Toweling bathrobes
Large picture windows so you can enjoy the sea view from your bed. Bert Trautman (the Manchester City goal keeper who broke his neck during the ?56 Cup Final) used to live here and had the windowsills lowered so he could still see the view whilst lying down. We understand he is now living (and walking!) in Spain.
An en suite shower room with a power shower, wash basin, loo, extractor fan, adjustable radiator, an alternate form of heating, shaver point and complimentary shower bits and bobs. Snuggly towels.
Colour TV, clock radio alarm, hairdryer, extension cable, torch, sunshade/ umbrella
Beverage tray - teas ( English Breakfast, Earl Grey, decaff, herb/fruit), coffee/decaf, hot chocolate and biscuits.
Fresh milk always available
Additional pillows and bed covers
An electric fan in case those summer evenings are too warm. A fan heater if you need a bit more warmth than the radiator. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space.
