It is with great pleasure that Patricia M. Ramsey introduces you to The Edgewood Centre in Portsmouth, New Hampshire in the United States. As the owner of the facility, she wants to give you a sense of what she believe makes Edgewood Centre a special place in which to live and work.
As an independently owned and operated facility, we make sure that everything we do, every decision we make, is for the residents. That has been our family?s philosophy here at Edgewood Centre since 1972. Built by my father and a close friend of the family, the facility has been independently owned and operated for over 30 years. I?ve had the privilege of being directly involved in the overall operation and ownership since 1985.
We are proud of our heritage and our long history of providing exceptional care in a comfortable home-like environment. Caring for people is what we are truly all about. We carefully select and screen prospective staff members to ensure that we have assembled a team of managers and direct care staff who strongly support our mission that nothing less than the best will do. I take that mission seriously as I?m not only the owner, but a family member as well, my mother is an Edgewood resident.

As a skilled nursing care facility, our ultimate objective is to assess and assist each individual in attaining and maintaining the level of well being and quality of life they are seeking.
