Robin and Clare would like to welcome you to their home in Keswick, which is perfectly located in a quiet cul-de-sac, yet only a 2 minute walk from the centre of town.

Since moving to “Ellergill” in 2006,  we have completely renovated and refurbished our Guest House which offers elegant and spacious rooms for those seeking a relaxing break in a friendly atmosphere.

At  Ellergill Guest House Robin and Clare pride themselves on quality, modern accomodation with the character and period features retained in this lovely newly refurbished Victorian Guest House. Stanger street is situated in the heart of  Keswick, yet in a quiet cul-de-sac.  A warm friendly welcome is guaranteed, with a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Our rooms are decorated to a high standard and the en-suite rooms are especially spacious with generous bathrooms containing good quality fittings. Each room has a colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities, central heating and we have a strict non smoking policy.

Our four diamond rating ensures high levels of cleanliness and we are happy to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A full English breakfast at Ellergill Guest House is accompanied by a choice of five starters, with unlimited tea or coffee and a choice of wholemeal or white toast. We feel its important to use quality ingredients so free range and local products are used whenever possible. We have plenty of information about local attractions including walking maps and Lake District publications and there is also a garden where you can store your bicycle.
