Welcome to The Fairfield Guest House in Windermere, England, United Kingdom. The Fairfield is one of Lakeland's original country houses built nearly 200 years ago and now provides a contemporary Bed and Breakfast with a 'Visit Britain' 4 star Silver accolade, together with a 'AA Highly Commended with Good Breakfast' award. Tony and Liz Blaney offer their guests a high standard of personal service with genuine hospitality in a homely atmosphere.
Around the turn of the last century the house was owned by the Garnet family of which Annie was a
famous water colourist as well as a spinner and weaver for the London market of the time. The interior
is decorated to match the style of that period and has been tastefully adapted to a guesthouse with a
homely feel.
The Fairfield has standard rooms with double or twin beds and en-suite shower rooms. Superior rooms are en-suite with bath or shower, and have a 4-poster bed. The new deluxe rooms have spa baths with a choice of two different experiences.
The relaxation room is overlooking the garden and has a sleigh bed, a 2-person massage shower and an internally lit, air-spa bath right next to the window which also overlooks the garden.
For a complete relaxation experience why not enjoy a glass of champagne together in the bath?
For a more invigorating experience try a whirlpool bath whilst you drink a glass of champagne. This room also overlooks the garden and has a solid oak four poster-bed.
For the ultimate in modern convenience our new penthouse, in the roof space, is a completely open plan area which has views in all directions of the surrounding countryside. The room features a super-king size bed and a comfortable seating area with two flat screen televisions and DVD player. The room also features an air-spa bath and a 'rain' shower built into the window space giving a feeling of being out on the roof!
We look forward to welcoming you to The Fairfield Guest House, Windermere, England, United Kingdom.
