Welcome to The Falconer Museum which is centrally situated in the pleasant Royal Burgh of Forres in the county of Moray, Scotland.

Originally, the front of the building was encased by railings and it is thought that these railings were taken away during the second world war. The present day entrance with ramp access was constructed in 2001. Around the exterior of the Falconer Museum there are a number of carved heads depicting emminent scientists.

From time to time the Falconer Museum, Forres, Scotland, hosts exhibitions and the Friends are actively involved in setting up the exhibitions through the Volunteer Programme. Demonstrations and talks are held throughout the year for members of The Friends and cover a wide variety of subjects and have included, The National Trust for Scotland, Stone Masonry, Beekeeping, Kilt-making, Violin Making and Architectural Heritage.
