Augrabies, the land of noise and desert. The mighty Orange River provides the main attraction at the Augrabies Falls National Park in the Northern Cape. According to one, it contains a fortune in alluvial diamonds washed down by the river through the ages. Some say that South Africa?s own ?Loch Ness monster? lives in this pool.

Richterveld
