Welcome to the Farm Shop Cafe at the Garlic Farm on the Isle fo Wight, English Channel, United Kingdom. Those who knew the old Shop in the cartshed known as the nag stable, will be pleased that it has been fully preserved and improved with a spectacular new front all built in Isle of Wight macrocarpa.
Weeks outside our completion date, but now with the paint dry and the Shop bulging at the seams, all the waiting and worrying seem far behind.
The structure is looking fine using Isle of Wight macrocarpa, planted 150 years ago by landowners following their Queen?s example at Osborne. The 10? columns are supported on staddlestones. A slate roof and flagstone floor complemented by a mammoth wood-burner for the winter make our Shop a great visit anytime of the year.
During the summer, the Farm Shop Cafe at the Garlic Farm, Isle of Wight, English Channel, also offers Sunday morning moochers cappuccinos, croissants, all the papers and a fine selection of jazz ? usually of the recorded variety, but if you?re lucky, students from the Guildhall and Royal Holloway Music departments take up residence. At other times everyone can enjoy tea and cake and admire the views.
