Fernbank House,is a traditional Victorian Lakeland self-catering house situated in an excellent location for touring the Lakes in the United Kingdom, and to enjoy the delights of Keswick town, which is 10 minutes walk away. Fernbank House enjoys magnificent views of Latrigg to the rear and Grisedale Pike, amongst other fells, to the front.

Built of local stone, Fernbank House,is a semi-detached property with four to five bedrooms. It has been beautifully furnished throughout, and is decorated and equipped to offer the highest standard of accommodation for 10 people. There is private off road parking for 3 cars, and a peaceful garden to the rear of the property incorporating a children's play area.

Keswick is a vibrant market town with a number of activites on offer. The town is actually on the shores of Derwentwater, the widest lake in the United Kingdom, where you can have a pleasant cruise or begin a walk up one of the many famous fells.

There are many restaurants and bars within the centre of Keswick and shopping is varied, from mountaineering to pencils (Nearby Borrowdale Valley was the birthplace of   pencil lead!). You can also enjoy shows at the new 'Theatre by the Lake'.

Fernbank House is gas centrally heated and offers the following luxurious spacious accommodation, vestibule with mosaic quarry tiled floor, hall leading to lounge with bay window and views to Grisedale Pike,  stone and slate fireplace with open fire, colour television, satellite (own card required) and video.

A second lounge with feature fireplace, sofa bed and hi-fi system, views towards garden and Latrigg.  Ferndale House has a newly fitted kitchen with Norfolk oak units, microwave, dishwasher, gas oven, hob and fridge freezer. Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Dowstairs w.c. with hand basin.
