Greetings from Fiddlehead Center for the Arts Scarborough
The arts are an essential element to a child's education and provides opportunity for performance in other academic areas to be enhanced as well. The benefit of the arts is also two-fold: they benefit those that take joy in doing them and they benefit those who en-joy the presence of them. The mission of Fiddlehead Center for the Arts is to provide a community platform to accomplish just that! With our two Maine locations here in Scarborough and in Gray, we continue to offer innovative programming in the arts as well as the sciences.
It is a delight for us at Fiddlehead Center for the Arts, to offer such a wide array of programs with something for everyone, from toddlers to teens to adults. As always, our hope is that you will be enriched by what you find here and that it will provide an opportunity for you to explore, discover and be inspired.
Based on a world-renowned educational approach called Reggio Emilia, the program is available for three- to five-year-olds, either two, three or five days a week. It will emphasize the arts and communication and will feature Music, movement, work with clay and an introduction to the Spanish language.
