The Fife Folk Museum, opened in 1968 in the picturesque village of Ceres, comprises an extensive collection illustrating the domestic, social, agricultural and industrial way of life of country people prior to the industrial revolution. The Museum consists of the Weigh House (and two adjoining weavers cottages) an illustration of which is shown above, and the Extension opposite the Weigh House in the High Street.
