Welcome to Firelands Montessori Academy (FMA), Huron, United States. Firelands Montessori Academy is a co-educational non-profit Montessori school educating in the Firelands community for over twenty five years.

Firelands Montessori Academy was founded in 1979 on the concept of community. Community in the classroom, among our staff and with our families. Our mission is to provide a Montessori educational environment for children that nurtures creativity, curiosity, self-reliance and respect in order to inspire a passion for life long learning.

Children are taught individually and work at their own pace and level. Children of varying ages work together in the same classroom, stimulating both academic and social growth. The Montessori child confidently develops socially, mentally and physically. The child exercises responsibility and respect.
