Welcome to Flanders Barn Bed and Breakfast, Llantwit Major, United Kingdom. Flanders Barn is a Grade 2 Listed, stone built barn which has been renovated and converted into high quality accommodation.
Believed to date from the early 18th century, the Flanders Barn is set in an acre of ground and is bounded on one side by the Ogney Brook and on the other by open countryside. This Bed and Breakfast is ideally situated on the edge of this famous old town. Nearby footpaths give easy access to the Glamorgan Heritage Coast (approx 1 mile) and the centre of town is only a 10 minute walk away.
A large, comfortable sitting room with bed settee is accessed by your own front door. This gives guests the freedom of a private entrance from the front garden, which they are free to enjoy.
A log burning stove is set in one corner, with a dining area in another. The fridge is stocked with fresh milk and bottled water; tea, coffee and specialist teas are complimentary.
Local buses and trains are available in the Llantwit Major town centre for trips to Bridgend or Porthcawl to the west or Cardiff city centre to the east (approx 40 minutes by train). This rail link is ideal for visitors to the Millennium Stadium and the various theatres in the city. We are a 20 minute drive from the nearest junction (J35) on the M4 and only a 10 minute drive from Cardiff International Airport.
