Built by Sir James Fletcher in 1924 to serve as his private residence whilst he oversaw the construction of the New Zealand and South Seas Exhibition complex.   This historic property was aptly named Fletcher Lodge by its previous owners.

Guests are welcome to relax at any time in the impressive, richly paneled Oak room of Fletcher Lodge. Please note that for the comfort of our future guests we request that there is NO SMOKING in any of the rooms in the Lodge.

Fletcher  Lodge serves a complimentary breakfast each morning on fine china and silverware in the impressive Wedgwood Room.  Breakfast usually consists of fresh orange juice, a selection of cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad, fresh-baked croissants, a selection of toasts, gourmet conserves, fresh coffee and various teas. A hearty cooked breakfast is also available try our delicious fresh salmon and scrambled eggs on a bed of English Muffins all a top a delicious savoury peach jus, Oeufs a la Garvan or our renowned Jajecznica na boczku "scrambled and Bacon Polish style."
