For those who want an overnight stay in Norway?s most westerly town, Floro, the Florø Rorbu Holiday Apartment Resort has an interesting range of rooms and Apartments located in the Sogn og Fjordane region of Norway.

On its idyllic site at Furuholmen marina in Krokane, just outside downtown Floro, Sogn og Fjordane, the Florø Rorbu Holiday Apartment Resort faces south, this scenic view is a constant source of joy to our guests, especially during quayside dinners.

Florø Rorbu Holiday Apartment Resort has its own slipway as well as a quay for those who come in from the sea into Floro. Boats for hire are available. Among other reasons to pay us a visit we would like to mention that you can fish in the fjord or go for mountain walks before you go to sleep while listening to the gentle lapping of waves against the quay.

After opening in Floro in 1995, Florø Rorbu Holiday Apartment Resort has been expanded to its present 15 Apartments. The over all impression of the place is that of a modern holiday resort with every facility, but still conforming to Norwegian wharf side shed building style. The latter point has been and remains a major consideration. Not only because we want to preserve our traditional wharf side culture, but because we know that our guests appreciate this touch of tradition as well as our proximity to the sea.

Even if all Apartments at Florø Rorbu Holiday Apartment Resort vary somewhat, each one has its own private bathroom with a shower. There is also a kitchenette stocked with normal Norwegian cooking utensils, plates, and cutlery. There are two different bedroom categories. One with a double bed for adults and one with bunks for children. There are pillows and quilts in all the bedroom. As for linen you may bring your own or hire.

Most of the Apartments have their own outside area or balcony. In every living room is a parabola-connected TV set. All our 15 modern Apartments have been given names derived from the sea or maritime culture.

Beside the reception you will find a launderette with washing machine, tumble drier and iron. There is also a special outside area to gut and clean the fish you catch, which you may then deposit in our freezer and the picture is completed by out floating pier, communal space and a small kiosk with a supply of summer titbits and fishing equipment.
