Flower Haven Apartment, a self contained 2 bedroomed accommodation Apartment is 8km south of Waipu and 40 minutes drive south of Whangarei in Northland.

The accommodation, with an elevated position, has panoramic views of the sweep of Bream Bay and off shore islands. It overlooks the Waipu Cove sandy beach with its constantly changing surf which is visited by schools of dolphins. There are extensive rocks with interest-filled pools at low tide.

Flower Haven Apartment, a self-contained downstairs two bedroomed Apartment with separate access. The bathroom has been tiled with all modern fittings.

A continental breakfast is offered as an extra if required at Flower Haven Apartment in Waipu. Bread is freshly made on the premises.

The Beach House Restaurant has a chef of international standing with a menu which caters for all tastes while the Cove Cafe serves meals and takeaways and the Waipu Cove General Store has comprehensive stocks. They are all just a short walk from Flower Haven and there are other eateries and shops a few minutes' drive away.

The quarter acre plus grounds are being developed as a garden retreat with strategically placed seating taking in various views. Many guests comment on the birdlife around the grounds, with tuis, kingfishers, rosellas, silvereyes and fantails delighting the senses.

There is a small area in lawn where croquet can be played for personal pleasure and also a paved area in the garden is set for relaxing. Our home is not suitable for wheelchairs ~ small children ~ pets.
