Malcesine, Italy and the Upper Garda Lake are a natural ground for Sailing. Regular local winds - the Peler rising early in the morning and the famous Ora blowing from South in the afternoon - and the excellent location of this site, the splendid landscape framing Malcesine, Italy and its Scaliger Castle, as well as the natural park of the Mount Baldo, make of Malcesine the best place where to spend a holiday either for Sailing or hiking and biking on the surrounding mountains.
On the basis of these elements Malcesine was elected as the official site for training the Italian Olympic Team by the Italian Sailing Federation.
