Be prepared to answer questions and have dates/ages available from birth until now concerning the following: past injuries, slips/falls, auto accidents, work related injuries, athletic injuries, surgeries, chronic problems and your current symptoms.
You will be asked: Where are your sensitive or painful areas? Is your pain constant or does it come and go? When did the pain start? Was there a particular incident that caused the pain? Is your pain progressively getting worse or is it staying the same? Have you had this pain before?
What makes the pain worse? What makes the pain better? Have you received any other care/treatment regarding this pain (medical, chiropractic, massage, acupuncture, physical therapy...)? Has it helped?
In addition, the doctor will ask you about your lifestyle habits (diet, water intake, smoking/drinking habits, job/work, exercise, etc.).
