The 17 room refurbished Inn provides luxury guest rooms, each individually decorated. Suites are also available. All have private baths.  Most rooms have lakeviews, fireplaces, steam showers, wetbar and/or Jacuzzis. Beds are fluffed with featherbeds, duvets and lots of pillows. The Guest Common room has a fireplace, offering a relaxing atmosphere after a day of outdoor activity.
"Murphy's Friends Lake Inn" was built in the 1860' as an Inn to accommodate the Tanners working in the major industry of early Chestertown. The Friends Lake Inn has been completely restored to its original beauty and quiet elegance providing a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere for individuals and couples.
