Gairloch Holiday Park in Gairloch, Scotlandin the United Kingdom is open from 26th March to October 31st this quiet family owned Campsite is situated beside the sea at Strath, the main crofting township in the historical parish of Gairloch. Of small to medium size, with a six bedroom house and 2 Static caravans to hire, we have an open outlook toward the Torridon Hills and Isle of Skye. Our Holiday Park is perfectly situated as the touring centre for the Wester-Ross area in Scotland.

Tents are how we started and there is nothing we enjoy more than seeing the tent field full. We have a campers lounge and kitchen available, at extra cost, for those days when you just need to escape from the tent. We stock a small range of camping supplies for those little emergencies that always seem to happen at just the wrong time.
Barbecue?s are permitted we just ask that you raise them off the grass a little on the bricks supplied -and feed any leftovers to our hard working wardens.

A few visitors to our region have heard tales of the rare Gairloch ?beach dwelling? haggis. It is believed that having your tent raised from the ground may offer some protection. Admittedly we are little more than 100 meters from the beach however the Haggis have to pass the Millcroft Hotel to reach us and they are quickly captured and served up in one the Millcroft?s excellent Highland Mixed Grills - so no need to go to this length for a good nights sleep.

Whilst the mountains and lochs are fantastic, sometimes a caravan or motor home holiday should be just that - a holiday! If your hearts desire is to sit and watch the world go by then where better to do it than on a nice quiet site amongst some of the most beautiful scenery in Europe?

Dolphins, porpoise, sea otters and even a basking shark have all been spotted from our park during the 2008 season. Buzzards are regularly seen over the hills nearby always prompting ?look, a Golden Eagle?! (Perhaps we should organize an Ornithology week to settle the argument?)

Situated overlooking Loch Gairloch, the views to the Torridon Mountains are simply magnificent - all from the comfort of the window in the large lounge area. The ground floor bedrooms consist of two double & two single bedrooms. The two bedrooms on the first floor consist of a twin bedroom & the other contains a single and a double bed. A cot & high chair can be provided on request.

We accept pets and the house is enclosed in it?s own walled garden with ample parking to the front of the property
