The Garrack Hotel sits comfortably in one of the most enviable locations. Standing in two acres of garden with breathtaking views over Porthmeor beach, St Ives Bay and the Atlantic beyond, the Hotel is off the tourist track and hidden away. It enjoys peace and quiet away from the noise and bustle of holiday makers in the town, which is only a few minutesâ?? walk away.
St Ives has its own special appeal with its narrow, twisting streets and picturesque harbour and beaches. Long famous as an artistsâ?? colony with its many galleries and pottery shops, it is home to the renowned Tate Gallery St Ives which opened in 1993. Guests come on art shopping trips and spend thousands of pounds.
The majority of the Hotelâ??s individually decorated 18 en suite bedrooms have sea views. First floor rooms are in a traditional style sympathetic to the character of the original residence. There are three ground floor level access rooms, of which one is especially suited for wheelchairs. A lower-ground floor, sea facing extension has more contemporary style rooms, including two suitable for families. A further two bedrooms are in the cottage annexe in the grounds, on the seaward side of the Hotel.
