GoFA, the Gatehouse of Fleet Artist Co-op was started in February 2007 to showcase the work of artists in this small but creative community in south west Scotland.
The Co-op currently represents six artists; five painters and one maker. A selection of their work is shown on this site and regularly updated. Much of the work is for sale. If you are interested in a piece or would like more information, please contact us.
As well as original pieces, high quality artists prints and greetings cards will be added to the site.
The Co-op's home gallery space is the Bakehouse Arts Centre in Gatehouse where work is regularly exhibited but the aim is to show more widely on a regular basis both within the region and across the UK.
The Co-op as an artist led initiative also aims to work closely with other art groups and bodies within Dumfries and Galloway, and to actively take part in other cultural initiatives and programmes.
