Welcome to The Gibsons Aikido Dojo, Canada. The Gibsons Aikido Dojo was established in 1999 by Chief Instructor, Allen Wynne, 3rd Dan.

Having studied various Martial Arts since childhood, Allen began his Aikido training in 1990 and his Systema journey in 2005.

He is a past member of the Shiatsu Therapy Association of BC practicing since 1994. He holds diplomas in Zen Shiatsu and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Our dojo is closely linked with Aikido Eastside, Pacific Coast Systema and Systema Northwest.

The Gibsons Aikido Dojo is connected to Aikikai Headquarters in Tokyo Japan through affiliation with the Aikido Schools of Ueshiba.

Parents may participate in Martial Arts classes as long as their interaction does not interfere with class processes - this will be assessed on an ongoing basis. Older children may participate in the adult program with the permission of the Chief Instructor.
