Upon entering this special Queen Anne Victorian you are transported back into yesterday. The Gilbert Inn, built in 1892, still looks much the same as it did back then,.. the big fireplace in the center of the parlour; the natural fir tongue and groove ceilings and walls throughout the house still retain their warmth and charm.

The ten guests accommodations are inspired by the classic Victorian era and reflect charm and elegance from the past. Each room offers exquisite decor with queen sized beds, down quilts, cozy comforters, period furnishings and our family heirlooms all mingled together to make the emphasis on comfort for our guests.

The Gilbert Inn has an ideal location - being in one of the North Coast's most popular towns, Seaside, with it's historic Prom and turnaround on the ocean is a vacation paradise. Shops, restaurants, beaches, it's all here and within easy walking distance. The Gilbert Inn is one half block from the ocean and one block south of Broadway (our main street).

We are located 19 miles south of the Oregon/Washington border on the scenic Oregon Coast and 80 miles NW of Portland, Oregon.
