Welcome to the Goa Curry Take Out Restaurant, Busselton?s only fast-serve Indian takeaway. Mark Edmunds and Ryan Haigh began the Goa Curry journey in 2007 as two friends with the idea of establishing a quick and easy alternative to the traditional ?sit down? restaurant in the South West of Western Australia.
The concept was relatively simple at Goa Curry Take Out Restaurant, Busselton: prepare and serve up delicious home-made Indian-style curries and snacks to customers - but purely as ?take away?.
Ryan is a trained chef with years of experience working both in Australia and internationally in restaurants alongside such names as Ben O?Donoghue and Jamie Oliver - he would create the food. Whilst Mark with his varied business experience, would be in charge of managing the business and moving the Company forward. Mark?s wife, Jessica, became involved with the business administration.
Twelve months of planning later, the Busselton site was chosen and after much anticipation, Goa Curry opened its doors on 7th September 2008.
The Food
Everything (except a few condiments) is cooked from scratch in the kitchen at our Busselton outlet. So to ensure consistency and high quality in all our dishes, we source the best cuts of meat available and ingredients from within South West Australia. This is with the exception of the spices which is supplied to us by a specialist importer of Indian goods in Perth.
