The village enjoys the advantage of its altitude, clean air, quiet roads, panoramic views and the tranquillity of the Snowdonia National Park in Gwynedd, Wales. Although 'away from it all', we are only 2 miles away from the A55 North Wales Expressway and 1½ miles from the A5 trunk road.
Situated on the very edge of the Snowdonia National Park, the area is ideal for the outdoor enthusiast who wants to take advantage of the opportunities of the area has to offer; mountain walking, rock climbing, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, pony trekking etc. If you are on a driving holiday, the village is well situated for exploring the valleys, historical towns and castles and the beautiful beaches of North Wales. The locality lends itself to gentle walks and quiet relaxation.
At Gors yr Eira Guest House meals are prepared to please, and where possible organically, home produced eggs, bacon, beef, lamb and vegetables are used. Packed lunches can be provided.
The comfortable guest lounge and separate dining room has colour TV. The bedrooms are centrally heated and provided with tea and coffee making facilities. The Guest House has ample private parking.
