Welcome to Greystone Manor Bed and Breakfast in Courtenay, Comox Valley, British Columbia in Canada. Greystone Manor Bed and Breakfast is a waterfront heritage home, built in 1918 on 1 1/2 acres, and has beautiful English flower gardens, lovely views across Comox Bay to the mainland mountains.
All three of our guest rooms at Greystone Manor Bed and Breakfast have private bathrooms. Our home is a smoke-free environment. Adult-oriented, we have no family-sized rooms, so we are unable to accommodate young children.
With lovely views across Comox Bay to the Mainland's Coast Mountains, the house is surrounded by 100-year-old maples and firs, with over an acre of magnificent English-style gardens which have been featured on television and garden tours. It is a perfect place to relax and unwind away from the stress of city life.
The gardens are full of colour in spring, summer and fall, and there are vegetable and fruit gardens, too. These are fenced to keep the deer out.
Seating areas enable guests to relax, smell the flowers, listen to the birds and enjoy the mountain and water views, or just sit and watch Mike and Maureen working in the gardens.
Greystone Manor Bed and Breakfast in Courtenay, Comox Valley, British Columbia, is a great place for bird watching, the gardens include a trail that makes it easy to stroll to the beach to look for herons, bald eagles and other water fowl.
You might also see harbour seals, so don't forget your camera and binoculars.
From the sun rising behind the mountains and shimmering across the bay in the morning to the sunset and sparkling lights of Comox reflecting in the water at night, the view from Greystone Manor Bed and Breakfast is a living picture.
Greystone Manor Bed and Breakfast is a convenient place to stop during your travels between Victoria and Port Hardy, or en route to Powell River and the Sunshine Coast.
Stay for a few days, take a ferry ride to Denman and Hornby islands, or drive up into Strathcona Provincial Park (the oldest provincial park in B.C.) and see spectacular mountains and lakes. You can also explore beautiful beaches and hiking trails around the Comox Valley.
