A couple blocks East of the main dining area on Barton Springs Road in South-Central Austin, Gypsy Italian Bistro offers different type of dining than the high-volume, casual concepts closer to Austin's Zilker Park. Gypsy Italian Bistro offers a limited number of tables, a small bar area that blends into a rock wall/staircase leading to an outdoor patio area, and a well managed Chef staff aiming to please with personalization that combine to give Gypsy a unique energy that delivers a different dining experience. Introducing Shawn Gamble executive chef, Graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, Chef at Le Masiere, Aviano Italy. Worked with Roland Mesnier, White House Chef, Cooked for European heads of state and top military leaders. Returning from working at La Masire, Chef Shawn Gamble is pleased to open Gypsy  Italian Bistro,  a modern take on Classical Northern Italian cuisine.
