Hahei Oceanfront House is luxury hosted accommodation, located between two of the Coromandel Peninsula?s top natural attractions, the world-renowned Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach in Hahei, R.D. 1, Waikato.
Situated on the dune just above the beach, Hahei Oceanfront House is the ultimate in luxury accommodation, with superb ocean views of the Pacific. Built in late 2004, the House has been designed to comfortably accommodate your hosts Raewyn and Joe, and to offer boutique luxury accommodation to the world?s most discerning travellers.
For both Raewyn and Joe, the opportunity to introduce you to the charms of Hahei R.D. 1 and the greater Coromandel region is the realisation of their dream.
We are able to accommodate 6 guests, 2 in a suite overlooking the bay and 2 couples in 2 bedrooms. Each has:
* Television and computer ports and radio alarm clock
* Sound-proofed walls and doors in bedrooms
* Heaters and electric blankets in winter
* Heated towel rails, hairdryer, bathrobes and toiletries
* Private guest access.
These rooms share a refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities, plus a computer for those without a laptop.
The Mahurangi room has a king bed, the Te Karaka has a superking or 2 king singles.
The suite also has a living room, bath and its own private deck, with 180 degree sea, island and beach views. Perfect for those celebrating a special occasion.
With tea or coffee, we offer a selection of fruits, juices and cereals, as well as a full cooked breakfast.
For those other meals, three restaurants in Hahei are within easy walking distance. A 15 minute drive and a very brief ferry ride sees you in Whitianga with access to many more. Ask your hosts.
About Hahei
Hahei is an ideal place from which to explore the Coromandel Peninsula, not only because it is adjacent to Cathedral Cove and only six minutes drive to Hot Water Beach (the two most visited tourist attractions on the Peninsula) but also because it is so centrally located to visit all the other sights on the beautiful and fascinating Coromandel.
Whitianga: 40 minutes north or 25 minutes by car and passenger ferry.
Tairua: 25 minutes south.
Coromandel: 1 hour 10 minutes.
Thames: 1 hour 5 minutes.
Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga: All 2.5 hours.
