Fishing - Fish one of the several fresh water lakes, rivers or open water of the Pacific. Take a charter or launch your own boat. Sturgeon fishing season is open year round and there are salmon sole, bass and ling cod.

Boating - Launch your boat at the new Willapa Bay Boat launch just a short walk from the Harbor View.

Canoeing and Kayaking - Visit undeveloped Long Island in the Willapa Bay, part of the Willapa National Wildlife Refuge. The only way to travel to Long Island is by private boat or kayak.

State Parks and Historic Sites:
Cape Disappointment, a unit of Lewis and Clark National Historical Park, is home to the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center and a good place to enjoy winter storm watching, jetty fishing, hiking, lighthouse touring and beachcombing.
