Welcome to Harbour Cottage, Wells-next-the-Sea, United Kingdom. Harbour Cottage is available for year round holiday rental. It is situated in Wells-next-the-Sea, a small fishing port on the North Norfolk coast, about two and half hours drive from London. Harbour Cottage is ideally situated to explore the wealth of activities the coast and countryside have to offer. The town was originally a source of water from boreholes as the name suggests and many of the buildings reflect the rich past character and history.

Wells has become an ideal family holiday retreat, with a wide range of activities for all ages. Kids love catching crabs in the harbour, playing beach games, bingo, amusements, ice cream parlors etc. Adults may enjoy leisurely seaside walks or cycle rides along gentle undulating paths and lanes, followed by a sampling of local ale with fresh fish or game from the nearby Holkham Estate. Wells has a variety of shops, eight pubs and several very fine restaurants.

Harbour Cottage as the name implies is situated by the harbour. The cottage lies in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, having lovely views over the fields to the sea. A private walled south facing courtyard provides an ideal setting for al fresco dinning, barbecues or simply sunbathing. The garden shed contains two bicycles, crab lines, bucket and spades and a barbecue for your enjoyment.

Harbour Cottage is fully furnished, centrally heated and double glazed, sleeping seven people.The ground floor consists of a large comfortable lounge, furnished with settees, multi-fuel stove and a TV/DVD player. There is also a cloakroom with a WC. The oak beamed hallway leads to the fully fitted dinning kitchen with oak table and chairs, double oven with ceramic hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and fridge freezer. A rear oak door has access to the children's play area.

The first floor has a large south facing double bedroom, a second bedroom with twin beds and a bathroom with power shower, bath, washbasin and toilet. On the second floor is a further beamed bedroom with three single beds and magnificent views over the estuary. Harbour Cottage is available for weekends, weeks or longer holidays.
