Harris Hall is a registered historical property (circa 1827) in the quiet village setting of Granville Ferry. 3 rooms, colour TV and cable, all with en suite or private bath, full hot breakfast and evening refreshments are served.
The home has served as an inn, Nova Scotia's first registered tavern, a rest stop for the Halifax to Victoria Beach Pony Express, and a country residence. This is a classic federal-colonial home with seven fireplaces and beehive bread oven. The well-worn floorboards are original to the rooms. Historic Annapolis Royal lies directly across the water. Drive, walk or use one of the guest bicycles to take a leisurely ten minute ride along the causeway bike path to spend a relaxing day in Annapolis Royal. Wander through the town; steeped in history. Shop at the Farmer's Market, visit O'Dell House and the Sinclair Museum, and browse through the local shops and antique stores.
