Claire and Tim would like to welcome you to their home in Ambleside, where you can enjoy traditional hospitality with home cooking using local produce.

Haven Cottage offers you a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.   It is conveniently situated on the edge of picturesque Ambleside with a good selection of shops, restaurants and cinemas only 3 minutes walk away, yet it is just a short stroll to Lake Windermere or the beautiful countryside of the Lake District in the United Kingdom.

Haven Cottage has ample private parking off road at the front of the property.

Originally two Victorian cottages, Haven Cottage now provides modern facilities whilst retaining the traditional feel of a country cottage.

Food is sourced locally, where possible, and is used to produce a traditional Cumbrian breakfast.  Special diets can be catered for with prior notice.

Enjoy the spectacular view of Loughrigg Fell at the back of  Haven Cottage.   If it's cold, don't be surprised to find some Red deer hinds and a Stag by the fence.

All of our bedrooms at Haven Cottage are tastefully decorated and have hospitality trays, wireless internet access, color TV and radio/alarms.   Rooms have en-suite or private facilities.   Families can be accommodated with interconnecting rooms and a private bathroom.
