The Hawley Estate in Devonport, Tasmania offer Hawley House Accommodation in the Main House, Stables and Vineyard Pavilion, sleeping a total of up to 40 guests.

The spacious rooms have been individually appointed with antique furnishings, oversized beds and original works of art. All rooms have en suite bathrooms and are equipped with televisions, hairdryers, clock radios, tea and coffee, desk, mini-bar, iron and ironing board, electric blankets and fresh flowers. We now have free wireless internet access for all guests.

The Main House
Hawley House itself has five en suite bedrooms. There are two spacious Private Balcony rooms featuring breathtaking views across gardens, pools, beaches, the bay and the Narawntapu National Park. Rooms are airy, original and unique, baths in bathrooms.

"Governess" family room - 2 Bedroom Balcony Suite featuring superb leadlight windows, and separate spacious & private sitting room opening onto a balcony with views across the northern gardens.

"Garden Rooms" - The two large period Victorian rooms downstairs open onto a sandstone-paved courtyard and overlook the lovely northern gardens. One has a kitchenette.

The Vineyard Pavilion
Self contained Vineyard Pavilion with Spectacular panoramic views, heritage accommodation. This house is outstandingly set behind Hawley House in the vineyards. Fully self contained with four bedrooms and two bathrooms the house comfortably sleeps groups of up to ten people. An outdoor deck entertainment area features a BBQ & gazebo.

Original artwork, period furniture including a giant four-poster bed add to the ambiance. Panoramic views across the farm, the vineyards, to the sea, to the National Park and inland to the Western Tiers are a feature of this house.

Stables & Lofts
The Stables offer eight ensuite bedrooms, all of which have period furniture and original paintings. On the first floor, there are four Loft rooms (below) with wooden vaulted ceilings and King size bed. They have french doors opening onto a balcony with sea and garden views. Downstairs are four 'Stables' rooms, three with generous corner Spa baths (below). Each has a Queen size bed plus a single bed in a separate contained alcove. The fourth 'Stable' room is designed for wheelchair access.

Hawley is animal paradise - we have miles of private bush walking trails, a beautiful dog friendly beach at the bottom of the garden and delightful four pawed hosts, Shadow, Gossip, Ratty and Juniper.

Dogs are allowed to stay in the Stables Spa Rooms, and 'Aquarius' rooms only as these have slate floors and are on the ground floor.

Horse friendly accommodation in Devonport... Other animals welcome by arrangement - past guests have included pet ferrets, rabbits, horses, cats and even chickens!
