Since 1798, The Parker Borden House, now the home of the Hearth House, has stood at the northern tip of Bristol's Hope Street, only a few short blocks from the center of town.
Conveniently located midway between burgeoning Providence 15 minutes to our north, and Newport's Gold Coast, 20 minutes to our south, Hearth House, an authentic example of federal architecture, stands at the juncture of Hope and Thames Streets and offers the warmth of its 10 fireplaces in winter, cool breezes in summer and, in all seasons, sweeping views of Bristol Harbor.
We invite you to stay in one of our light-filled guest rooms, each featuring authentic furnishings, private bath, working fireplace, air conditioning, and a view of Bristol Harbor or our lush English Garden.
