Lyndarah was built circa 1900 out of local sandstone. The house has led many lives, as a home, a doctor's surgery and a men's hostel after the Great War.   The name Herb's Hus grew out of Brian's Swiss heritage and Karrinjeet's passion for cultivating and cooking with herbs.

Herb's Hus has original features such as stained glass windows, intricate ceiling roses, twelve-foot ceilings and beautiful original fireplaces.
