Our local friends, folks passing through and even visitors from abroad have come to know those kind of sweet memories are made in the Hilltop kitchen.
All of our bakery is bigger than life, from the cookies you can wrap a child around, to our breads and muffins. Of course, our biggest source of pride is the Hilltop's homemade Sweet Roll.
Tipping the scales at over a pound each, Hilltop Sweet Rolls are made fresh through-out the day from scratch. We even make some of the scratch!
On a typical busy weekend, we'll use about 3,000 pounds of flour, 150 pounds of sugar, 60 pounds of apples, etc., just making our sweet rolls, not to mention the cinnamon, that comes in 100 pounds at a time. Our record so far is 204 dozen sweet rolls baked in our kitchen in the course of one long day.
