Windermere and Bowness are ideal villages in which to base your short break or holiday as they are in the heart of this breathtaking area. Hilton House has truly outstanding architectural features, woodwork, stained glass windows and is stylishly decorated throughout with interesting pictures, books and furniture, we also have 4 four poster bedrooms. All Bed and Breakfast bedrooms are en-suite. 9 bedrooms offer a range of accommodation options including individual double rooms, in a separate wing of the house, that can be adapted into a large family suite. All rooms have en suite shower rooms, colour television, hairdryers, and tea and coffee making facilities.
The Guest House is 5 minutes? walk to the charming village of Windermere and 10 minutes? walk to the lake and the lively little town of Bowness which nestles on its shore giving you a variety of interesting shops, pubs, restaurants and other places of interest such as the Beatrix Potter Exhibition and lake cruises.
