Welcome to Hitched in Washington D.C., United States. What is a bridal appointment with us like? Most importantly, we have fun! We will start by listening carefully to you and asking the right questions. We will talk about your vision for your wedding day taking into account your likes and your dislikes. Not yet sure what direction you are headed? We'll show you the options. We will walk you through our gowns (everything is out for you to see ? nothing is hidden in a back room), giving you a full opportunity to find the gown that?s truly you.
Most brides order their gown 6 to 9 months before their wedding date - it can take up to 16 weeks for delivery from the designer and we like to have between 6-8 weeks for the in-house fitting process. However, we know that sometimes time is of the essence and we are happy to try to accommodate your schedule.
After we place your custom order with the designer, we will continue to assist you in creating your wedding day look (lingerie, veils, jewelry, etc.). We will keep you updated on your gown order and will arrange a fitting schedule that fits your busy life.
The fittings are always particularly special as it is a moment when it all feels real. Our experienced seamstress will measure, tuck, and pin to make sure the gown fits perfectly for the big day.
At Hitched we keep it simple ~ we carry five fabulous bridesmaid lines that allow for varying tastes and figures.
Should you find a dress you love, you can select that style for all your bridesmaids, or mix and match styles to fit your bridal party's needs. We also carry matching flower girl dresses for the little ones and coordinating ties to "help" move the guys along in their wardrobe planning.
