From our garden at The Hollies Guest House you can enjoy panoramic views up to Blencathra and over St John's in the Vale towards Clough Head and the Helvellyn range.
There is ample off-road parking, as well as facilities for both walkers and cyclists (including a drying room).
The Hollies Guest House has been carefully refurbished by husband and wife team, John and Margaret Fleet, who have been in the hotel and catering business for over 30 years.
The recently refurbished AA 4 star rated accommodation at The Hollies Guest House comprises four twin/double rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. The rooms have full central heating and come with tea/coffee making facilities plus remote control colour television.
The two rooms at the front of the house enjoy views of the Helvellyn range and St Johns in the Vale, whilst the two to the rear look to the summit of Blencathra. All of our rooms are non-smoking including the breakfast room.
Gardens to the front and rear of the house frequented by a wide variety of birds and occasional red squirrels, provide a tranquil setting for a relaxing stay. Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement, in some of the rooms. Please bring food and a blanket or bed for the animal to sleep on. Please note however, dogs are not allowed in the breakfast room.
