Welcome to Holme Lea Guest House, our traditional stone built House set in the heart of Ambleside and ideally located for a break in the Lake District in the United Kingdom. We offer a high standard of accommodation which is reflected in our newly acquired 3 star rating from the English Tourist Board. Having only taken on the Business in 2006, we are delighted to have received this award.

Holme Lea Guest House is close to all local amenities, shops, restaurants and pubs, yet situated off the main through road.   Surrounded by beautiful scenery and landscapes and only a short stroll from Waterhead and the shores of Lake Windemere, Holme Lea Guest House offers a great base.   Attractions including the Bridge House, Galava Gate Roman Ruins and Stock Ghyll Waterfalls are also within walking distance.

Pam, born and bred in Ambleside, and Billy originally from Ulverston, share a wealth of local knowledge and are happy to help with any informatin or directions you may require.

Holme Lea Guest House has double, family, twin and single rooms with newly fitted en suite facilities.   Our bedrooms all have tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen TV, hairdryer, and offer a high level of comfort.   We are a non smoking Guest House.
