The Hotel Adler is a charming three-star Hotel situated in the Niederdorf area of Zurich. The Niederdorf in Zurich's lively Old Town is the ideal base for a pleasurable city holiday or a business trip to Switzerland. Each of the Hotel Adler's 52 rooms has a wall painting by the artist Heinz Blum depicting an interesting corner of Zurich for you to discover
The Hotel Adler has been welcoming guests to the heart of Zurich since the 14th century in Switzerland. Over the years, the Hotel has undergone rebuilding and renovation to accommodate modern expectations, but without concealing its long history.
We welcome you to the house in which the Swiss artist Rudolf Koller, a famous animal and landscape painter, spent his childhood.
The Hotel Adler's room concept is based on its historic local past. Each Hotel room is decorated with a painting by artist Heinz Blum, depicting an Old Town scene. Thanks to the impressive wall paintings, in total covering a surface of more than 150 square metres, our long-established Hotel in the heart of Zurich has become a theme Hotel. The sights depicted in the paintings are indicated on an illustrated city map.
As companion to the wall paintings, the book "A Way of Seeing Zurich," made available by the Hotel Adler, invites its readers to discover Zurich by suggesting six impressionistic walks through the Old Town.
Our in-house restaurant Swiss Chuchi offers you the pleasures of genuine Swiss culinary delights. The restaurant's traditional style goes hand in hand with the Swiss specialities we serve. During the summer months, we invite you to dine in the open air on the Hirschenplatz while enjoying the bustling activity along the Old Town's busy pedestrian area.
